Communication

This is a piece that I did during the fall semester where I turned the fret board on the guitar into a train bridge to illustrate "communication".  I love music, it is arguably the most universal and influential forms of communication.  Good music changes the world.  I also love trains and bridges...good imagery and metaphors.

This is a self portrait that I finished up over winter break.  This thing gave me so much trouble, I wanted to destroy it, but I had to force myself to finish it.  I painted over the majority of it a few times and went through a good amount of suffering, but it feel really good to be done with it because I learned a lot through the challenge and am pretty happy with the outcome.
