This is a portrait of director Wes Anderson intended as a spot illustration to accompany my painting, a couple posts back, for the darjeeling limited.

House of Mystery

This was way too much fun. Everybody should go now and paint a picture of a house or something and make it as terrible as you want because there's no messing up, it can only make it dirtier, scarier, uglier or way awesomer! (truth)......but this doesn't just apply to scary old houses, I believe that can be true about nearly anything that you can paint. Just go to work and don't turn back. A mock up cover redo from the cheesy old comic series House of Mystery. I don't know if they still make them or not, but I was checkin out the old school ones. This thing is cut paper, watercolor, ink, acrylic ink, graphite, blood and guts and who knows what else...

The Darjeeling Ltd.

I am completely in love with this movie. I can watch it over and over. It has so much amazing imagery and I had to dedicate some paint to it. Also, some really fun people to draw.

the Faint

New poster for the National theater. When I think of the faint, i think of amazing dance parties with sexy people. I used a photo reference of my friend bustin' out his killer moves. It's gonna be a lot of fun, so everybody come out and get down on the 16th.

This is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About

Isaac Brock, from the band Modest Mouse definitely has something to think about, so he writes it down, sings it as loud as possible, and bangs the hell out of his guitar. Check out some of their older music because there is nothing better in the universe. Follow these links
